Interview Tip of the Month:

When Is It Okay To Ask About Salary?

In a screening or initial interview, wait until the interviewer brings up the topic. It's generally best to focus on discussing your qualifications and the job requirements first and demonstrate your enthusiasm for the role (so the employer is confident you're there for more than "just a paycheck". If the interviewer doesn't bring up salary expectations during the first interview, it's appropriate to ask the company's salary range for the position in the second round.
